    Our Partners

New Frontiers for Families partners with the Daniels Fund on special programs for Native American Children in Garfield County. The partnership continues with the Cedar Band of Paiutes in Iron County and the Daniels Fund in the Pee soats eng project. This partnership provides tutoring and activities for Native Children to promote cultural awareness and success in school.

The Cedar Band of the Paiute Tribe partners with New Frontiers for Families to provide facilitation training and outreach for families with complex needs. This relationship provides beneficial opportunities for growth both in our advocacy efforts and our efforts to provide excellent service in communities. The leaders and members of the Cedar Band are exceptional partners.

New Frontiers for Families has worked closely with Southwest Behavioral Health Center for six years. This unique partnership has provided ongoing support for families and children with complex needs in Washington, Iron, Kane, Beaver and Garfield Counties. Southwest Center provides an opportunity for development and ongoing practice of family facilitation. In addition, Southwest Center contracts with New Frontiers for family involvement activities across the center including consultation with the Quality Improvement Committee, TASC teams and other multidisciplinary teams. New Frontiers for Families participated with SWC in a 7 year research project, The Utah Frontiers Project, developing training and expertise in Systems of Care principals and practice and Wraparound.

New Frontiers for Families partnered with the Division of Child and Family services in a pilot project to serve children in high cost placements. The project collected data for one year and will present the outcomes for these children at a later time. Ongoing collaborative relationships include a regional meeting to staff and “cross feed” complex cases to provide quality care and improvement.

Four Corners Mental Health Center

New Frontiers for Families has partnered with Four Corners Mental Health and FUTURES for Families for approximately four years. This relationship has provided opportunity for training, legislative advocacy at both the state and federal level. Ongoing collaboration will increase opportunity for family involvement across the state. Four Corners and FUTURES for Families shares the unique position of expertise and experience in System of Care Principles and Practice.

Liaisons for Individuals Needing Coordinated Services

New Frontiers for Families has worked with LINCS for approximately seven years. LINCS is a family organization who has special interest in education advocacy and advocacy for children with special health care needs. LINC also has skills in data collection and analysis and promotes evidence based practices through research.

New Frontiers for Families has partnered with Allies with Families for approximately seven years. Allies with Families acted as NFF’s mentor company and provided valuable support and collaboration They promote statewide advocacy for children with mental health issues. Allies is a chapter of the Federation of Families and supports education and legislative advocacy for children.
